Pick a random NFL team
This random NFL team generator is a wheel with all 32 NFL teams on it. Spin it when you want chance to choose: the team you play as in Madden, the loser's forfeit in your fantasy league, a team to sketch or a topic for a trivia round.
Every team is the same size, so each one has a 1 in 32 chance on every spin. Use the AFC or NFC button to spin only that conference, or "8 Divisions" to pick a division first and then spin its four teams.
To work through the whole league without repeats, turn on "Retire winners". Each team leaves the wheel as it is picked, a bit like a draft order decided by chance.

Leave all 32 teams on, or tap AFC, NFC or 8 Divisions to narrow the wheel.
Hold, then release
Hold the brass button in the middle and let go to launch the wheel.

The team that stops under the pointer fills the screen. Spin again or remove it.

How many teams are on the wheel?
All 32 NFL teams: 16 in the AFC and 16 in the NFC, in 8 divisions of 4.
Does every team have the same chance?
Yes. The segments are equal in size, so every team has a 1 in 32 chance. Press "All 32" to reset the wheel.
Can I spin only one conference or division?
Yes. Tap AFC or NFC for 16 teams. Tap 8 Divisions to spin for a division, then type that division's four teams into the entries, or edit any entry to build your own list.
Can I pick every team once, with no repeats?
Turn on "Retire winners" in the entries panel. After each result the winning team is removed, so every team comes up once.
Are team logos used?
No. The wheel uses team names only.
