This random MLB team generator is a wheel with all 30 Major League Baseball teams on it. Spin it for a team to play as in a baseball video game, a team for a fantasy or bracket challenge, a ballpark to visit or a trivia round.
Each team is the same size, so every team has a 1 in 30 chance on every spin. Tap American League or National League to spin 15 teams at a time.
To use every team once, turn on "Retire winners". Each team leaves the wheel as it is picked.

Leave all 30 teams on, or tap American League or National League.
Hold, then release
Hold the brass button in the middle and let go to launch the wheel.
Use the pick
The team that stops under the pointer fills the screen. Spin again or remove it.

All 30 MLB teams: 15 in the American League and 15 in the National League, in 6 divisions of 5.
Can I spin only one league?
Yes. Tap American League or National League for the 15 teams in each.
Does every team have the same chance?
Yes. The segments are equal in size, so each team has a 1 in 30 chance on every spin.
Can I pick every team once, with no repeats?
Turn on "Retire winners" in the entries panel. After each result the winning team is removed, so every team comes up once.
Is the team list up to date?
It follows each league's line-up as of 2026. If a team moves or changes its name, type the new name over the old entry.
Are team logos used?
No. The wheel uses team names only.
