Privacy Policy
Last updated: 7 November 2026
The short version
Spinwheele does not need an account. The names, numbers and other entries you type into a wheel stay in your browser and are not sent to us.
We do not sell your personal information. This site may show advertising from Google AdSense. When it does, Google and its partners can use cookies, as explained below, and you can opt out of personalised ads.
Who we are
Spinwheele (spinwheele.com) is a free website with spinning wheels and random pickers. If you have a question about this policy, use the contact page or write to [email protected].
What stays on your device
Everything you type into a wheel, such as names, options and numbers, is processed in your browser. It is not uploaded to our servers and we cannot see it. When you close or reload the page, it is gone.
We do not set our own cookies. We store one small item in your browser local storage: your advertising choice (accept or reject), so that we do not ask you again on every page. You can change the choice at any time with the Privacy settings link at the bottom of every page.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our web host may keep standard server logs, which can include your IP address, browser type, the pages you asked for and the date and time. We use this kind of information to run the site, keep it secure and fix problems.
Google Fonts
Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts. When your browser requests those fonts, Google receives your IP address and basic browser details. See Google's privacy policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy for how Google handles that data.
Advertising and cookies
This site may display ads served by Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website and other websites on the internet.
Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and other sites. You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings at https://adssettings.google.com. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising at https://www.aboutads.info.
To learn how Google uses information from sites and apps that use its services, see https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, ads that use cookies or similar technologies are shown only where you have given consent, and you can change your choice at any time using the privacy settings on this site when they are available.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking them will not stop the wheels from working, but the ads you see may be less relevant.
Contact form
If you use the contact form, we receive the name, email address and message you type, and we use them only to reply to you and to deal with your request. We keep a message for as long as it takes to deal with it and for a reasonable time afterwards in case you write again. The form opens your own email app with the message ready to send, so the message travels through your email provider and ours.
Children
Spinwheele is meant for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 where local law sets a higher age). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to how it is used, or to withdraw consent. Because we collect very little, there is usually little to find, but write to us and we will deal with your request.
We do not sell personal information in exchange for money. Advertising cookies may count as "sharing" under some US state laws; you can opt out through the Google and industry links in the advertising section above.
Other websites
Our pages may link to other websites. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.
Changes to this policy
If we change how the site works, for example by adding analytics, we will update this page and the date at the top.
